Assistance from a qualified professional in flow meter selection and installation is recommended to ensure proper installation and accuracy of future flow measurements.

Well Meter Assistance Program
The Santa Barbara County Water Agency (SBCWA) has created the Well Metering Assistance Program (WMAP), which offers financial assistance to qualifying landowners for the purchase and installation of flow meters equipped with a visual, volume-recording totalizer. Property owners may purchase and install eligible well meters at any time, then submit documentation to SBCWA for reimbursement up to $500. Rebates are available until June 30, 2026, or until funding is depleted.
